Intermediate/Advanced Intensive
Join us for an exciting three weeks of training to get back in shape for the ‘25 - ‘26 season! Classes included: Ballet, Modern, Variations, Choreography 101, Pointe, Conditioning, Injury Prevention. The Company Audition Week (August 18 - 22) is included in this intensive. Recent RDC Company Alumni please email myca@rockforddancecompany.com to register.

Company Audition Week
Audition for the chance to join us for our '25 - '26 RDC Company season! Dancers ages 15 - 18 are invited to audition for our Company program, and all the wonderful opportunities we offer our Company members throughout the season. This week is required to audition and participate in RDC's Company. Classes included: Ballet, Variations, Modern. If you are already enrolled in the Intermediate/Advanced Intensive you do not need to enroll for this week as well

Level 2/3 Intensive
Enroll in this week long intensive to expand your dancer's skills this summer! Dancer's will work on their ballet technique while learning choreography to show off at the end of the week. Extra classes like injury prevention, ballet history, and more are also included to give your dancer all the tools they need to succeed!
This program is designed for RDC dancers who are currently in the Level 2 and Level 3 programs, or dancers from all over the Rockford area who have a few years of ballet/dance training.

Nutcracker Workshops:
Prepare for our annual The Nutcracker auditions in these weeklong workshops. During the week your dancer will learn all the choreography they’ll need to know to nail their audition!

Have a fun filled week exploring styles and choreography from popular musical theater productions! We’ll make your stars shine with fun themed crafts and a performance to show off their new moves!

Little’s Summer Semester:
Whether you’re continuing your classes or joining us for the first time, these weekly littles classes are perfect for keeping your dancer moving through the summer! We will be closed for our summer break June 30 through July 5. Please contact info@rockforddancecompany.com with any questions!
Tot & Me

This class is designed to help your child feel comfortable exploring music and movement with you by their side. Students learn dance movements while developing healthy toddler bodies and coordination. This is the perfect way to spend time with your toddler as they are introduced to the joy of dancing!

Creative Movement
3 - 4 years
June 5 - July 31
Thursdays 9:30 - 10:00 am
Students gain balance, strength, and coordination as they explore how their bodies move. The curriculum is carefully designed to gently introduce these students to a structured, safe classroom environment. They will work on listening skills, following directions, and taking turns as they also learn the fundamentals of dance.

Dancin’ Dudes
5 - 8 years

This is a Creative Movement style class for boys who love movin' and groovin' taught by our School Director, Christopher Damle! Students gain balance, strength, and coordination as they explore how their bodies move. They will work on listening skills, following directions, and taking turns as they also learn the fundamentals of dance.

Ballet/Tap
4 - 5 years

This is an introductory class combining skills from both ballet and tap. They will learn the basics of musicality, ballet, and tap as they get more familiar with movement and being in a classroom setting. *Both ballet and tap shoes are required.

Introduction to Ballet
6 - 7 years

Tuesdays 9:30 - 10:30 am
This class is an introduction to the basics of ballet. Introduction to Ballet focuses on learning lots of new steps, strength, balance, and coordination, while fostering a love for dance!
