Reading Readiness
Our Reading Readiness program is designed for young children who are just beginning to read. This program will pique children's interest in literature by using fun and playful techniques to demonstrate letter shapes and sounds. The activities will incorporate creative movement concepts of space, time, energy and body awareness, along with letter recognition and basic word knowledge. Students will explore movement possibilities with music, rhythm, letters, words, stories, and picture books. Cost is $55 for a a 90 minute workshop for up to 16 children. $3 per additional child.
