Support

Rockford Dance Company would not exist without the generosity and the commitment of time and energy of our supporters.

These supporters have changed the cultural landscape of our community.  Many of them have seen decades of children advance through our program and the many characters of  "The Nutcracker".  They have picked their favorites and followed their careers not only in dance but in many successful endeavors.  Our company is very proud of the dancers we have produced in the professional arena, but our truest success are in those who developed the discipline to support  a worthy work ethic, determination, team work and a positive self image.  They have danced on the Coronado stage with professionals supported by incredible production standards.  Very few pre-professional dance companies have given their students so much.  The Rockford community has achieved so much.  It is our supporters who should feel proud.  They have made all of this possible.

Rockford Dance Company faces the challenges of rising costs and the increasing need to provide better service and class offerings.  We will continue to need the help of generous individuals and corporations.  If you would like to help support the Rockford Dance Company please print out the donation form and specify where you would want your funds to be applied.  Thank you for your support.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are essential for a not-for-profit organization such as Rockford Dance Company. The largest part of our volunteer core is involved with producing the productions at the Coronado Theater. We require that the parents of the students cast in the production volunteer a minimum of 6 hours. Community members also find this a worthwhile and meaningful way to help out. Listed below are some of the production jobs available:

In the office we occasionally need help processing mailings or entering data in our database or checking our web site for up to date material and corrections.

During the Start of School we appreciate having a greeter to meet new students and parents and to help them find their studio.

Our school performance once again needs volunteers to monitor dressing rooms, sell merchandise, tickets, and videos and the help transport, set up and tear down the set.

There are many ways one could become a major part of this organization. Please let us know what your interest are?
